Work, wellness and emotions during quarantine: data from the survey by Fondazione Libellula on the different experiences of men and women

A webinar to present the results of the survey: 1 woman out of 3 says she took care of her children, only 1 man out of 100 says the same. Outside of working hours, women were involved in household work, men in entertainment. Many feel tired, apathetic, with concentration disorders and fears.

The quarantine has upset everyone’s lives, but the health emergency is having a different impact on women. This is confirmed by data from the survey carried out by the Fondazione Libellula, active in the fight against violence and gender discrimination.

Google dedicates the doodle to the doctor who explained the importance of washing your hands

The doodle on Friday 20 March is dedicated to Ignaz Semmelweis, the doctor who explained how to wash your hands well and why it is so important.

Google dedicated the doodle (image or animated video that sometimes replaces the company logo on its home page) of today, March 20, 2020, to Ignac Semmelweis, a Hungarian doctor who lived in the first half of the 1800s and who is remembered for his important studies on contact bacterial transmission and the importance of washing your hands properly.
